Conferences

At the 24th Net Impact Conference 2016 we saw 2,400 committed change leaders brought together to discuss how to drive positive impact around the world. And just as I felt a few days before at the BSR conference in Manhattan, I left the conference inspired to continue facilitating the career growth of these impact- driven professionals and Masters students.

Addressing a room filled by individuals focused on exploring new ways to use business and leadership to create a more sustainable world.  Lindsay Levin, founder of Leaders Quest, left the audience with a piece of advice that clearly resonated with everyone the room, “If we want to be transformational,” she said, “we have to ready to transform ourselves.  This is something that is at the core of the important work I do with change leaders, and influenced much of our thinking throughout the rest of the conference.

This April I attended the 2014 Social Progress Index (SPI) breakfast briefing, hosted by Deloitte. sustainable-brands

The 2014 Sustainable Brands Conference kicked off in sunny San Diego, California last month with the theme of Reimagine. Redesign. Regenerate.

In his opening remarks, Mark Lee, Executive Director at SustainAbility, framed the event as a week of “what if that might just change the world.” His comments were energizing and thought provoking, while also providing a sobering truth that, although the private sector is making great strides in sustainability, the pace and scale of innovation might still need to accelerate to meet today’s biggest global challenges.

women-in-european-business-conference-2014

As a female entrepreneur, mother, daughter and sister, it’s not often I have the time to remind myself just how well my fellow businesswomen and I are doing.
